For the department of a prestigious company based in Rome, we are looking for n. 1:

JUNIOR TECHNICIAN

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for:

Manage technical equipment and inventory;

Troubleshooting hardware, software and end user support;

Backup and restore organization's data files and systems;

Perform end user training;

Infrastructure deployment & management ?

laptops, desktops, mobile devices, tablets, printers, including installation, configuration and upgrade;

Perform cleaning and minor desktop hardware repair for PC equipment, peripherals, printers and other hardware elements that aren't covered under warranty or by a 3rd party maintenance agreement;

Participate in global and cross-company projects, if required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

At least 2 years in the same position;

Good oral communication and writing skills;

Ability to work a flexible andirregular schedule including weekends and evenings;

Good communication and technical skills with the ability to translate technical issues effectively and in a comprehensible manner to non-technical employees;

A good understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a keen willingness to learn new technology and to train on new skills;

Technical knowledge in Networking;

Experience in LAN, WAN, DC networking, Cloud Networking environments, different Operating Systems and Applications;

Technical knowledge in Windows, Linux, MacOS, mobile administration;

Technical knowledge in IPSEC and/or VPN solutions;

Technical knowledge in administration and operation of perimeter security devices (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, UTMs, VPN concentrators, Proxies, Content filtering, network antivirus and anti-spam).

STUDIES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Cisco certifications or equivalents (CCNA, CCNP);

Microsoft certifications or equivalents;

Linux System Administrator certifications (LPIC-1, LPIC-2);

Vendor's certifications.

LANGUAGES

Italian and English.
