IIT has recently launched a flagship initiative in Technologies for Healthy Living (THL), aiming to generate groundbreaking interdisciplinary research in health technology, spanning from AI and robotics to biotechnology.

This program involves approximately 30 research lines and a diverse group of multidisciplinary researchers.

THE ROLE You will be working in the Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision (PAVIS) Research Line, in collaboration with the Rehab Technologies and EDPR units.

Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be:

Developing software for cutting-edge interdisciplinary technology transfer projects in the area of health care, concretely, Intelligent and Interactive environments to assist frail patients;Collaborating closely with other research units and groups at IIT in multi-group collaborations involving advanced software architectures, machine learning and robotics (e. g.

exoskeletons);Prototyping of Proof of Concepts, demonstrations, and use cases together with engineers and researchers with different backgrounds;Providing support on pre-clinical and clinical experiments with real patients;Providing support on the technical preparation of documentation (e. g.

technical reports). ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline;Knowledge of Python development in Linux environments;Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning models (e. g.

Pytorch, Tensorflow);Knowledge of edge computing, wearables and Internet of Things (IoT) technology;Good command of spoken and written English;A cooperative approach and team player;Accuracy and good analytical skills with willingness to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary projects. ADDITIONAL SKILLS Experience with mobile apps development (e. g.

Android);Experience with modern software development tools and technologies (CI/CD, test driven development, Git, microservices, Docker, MQTT, DevOps);Working experience in the public or private research sector;Experience in managing computer networks and network programming;Strong problem-solving attitude;High motivation to learn;Spirit of innovation and creativity;Good in time and priority management;Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment;Ability to work in a challenging and international environment. COMPENSATION PACKAGE A yearly gross salary ranging between 26. 000, 00 Euro and 30. 000 Euros, which may include a bonus option depending on your role and contract;
