_**Key Account Manager - VAR**_
**LOCATION: North Italy (Milan, Torino, Brescia, etc) REPORTS TO: Market Leader Southern Eastern Europe
**Our client is a leader in the security and access control sector and that proposes innovative products such as smart locks industry and surveillance systems.
As part of its global expansion, our client is looking for a successful KAM to develop the business in Northern Italy.
**-- MISSION -
**The KAM will be responsible for the total value proposition to the customer and will be responsible for developing new accounts in B2B - VAR, System Integrator, General Contractor, Installer and End User (Utilities, Telco & Transportation etc. )
and in B2B2C (distribution) and developing the accounts.
He/she will be acting as a real entrepreneur.
**-- RESPONSIBILITIES -
**-Manage a funnel and thus keep the pipeline full at all stages
**-Manage complex deals: RFI, RFQ, public tenders, expression of interest
**-Develop and implement successful account plans
**-Manage customers o**ff**er performance
**-Improve customer logistic service
**-Deliver KA targets
**-Achieve revenue, margins
**-Build solid relationships with KAs key decision makers, with focus on next generation projects, planned RFQ's, competitive threats, etc.
**-Help/advise customer on new technology and possibilities relating to their business
**-Manage and influence multi-disciplinary teams internally to deliver highest levels of customer satisfaction
**-Establish a winning spirit by embedding our culture within the company
**-Interpret the new needs of the market and suggest a possible evolution of the value proposition to the marketing and product teams.
**-Generate radical ideas to maximise value, encourage and stimulate creativity in others.
**-- REQUIREMENTS -
**-3-6 years of experience in the access control sector or related;
**-Ability to understand complex products and explain to different audiences;
- Previous experience dealing in B2B within the specifications market;
**-Strong understanding of the market and of customers' requirements;
**-Excellent communication skills;
**-Willingness to travel extensively in Northern Italy;
**-Fluent in Italian and basic English;
**-Excellent organisational skills and ability to work remotely;
**-Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.
