Role Overview:

The

**Genus IntelliGen Technologies** team is growing with the introduction of the first Key Account Administrator.

Provide leadership, and direction to production employees in a high-tech bio-manufacturing plant that processes bovine sexed semen.

This includes performance, training, and ensuring that manufacturing objectives were accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with IntelliGen customer lab in order to drive their continued success.

The role will monitor ongoing KPI performance of customer lab, identify performance issues and customer concerns, and engage the appropriate support resources to drive corrections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop a team of Production Technicians including recruitment, training and employee relations with support from HR

- Develop strategies to increase productivity and production

- Oversee manufacturing, quality, safety, logistics, and all other operational activities for this manufacturing facility.

Ensure metrics are met or exceeded regarding throughput, quality, cost and safety.

- Work with Quality Control to achieve standards

- Lead process improvement efforts, best practices sharing and champion Kaizen projects

- Lead and participate in projects

- Effectively interact with all departments on different levels to ensure safe and efficient operations

- Responsible for comprehensive documentation and accurate, thorough reporting of all Laboratory activities

- Maintain stock controls through the collaboration and communication with the Local Purchasing department

- Perform non-routine tasks and activities as assigned to ensure productivity

- Operate in a matrix environment with third-party and internal stakeholders

- Collaborate effectively with third-party management team

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with IntelliGen customer labs to monitor, report, and address issues in Laboratory performance

- Triage customer requests, complaints, and challenges

- Work with the commercialisation team to coordinate regular training and upgrade visits, where IntelliGen personnel will visit customer sites to conduct training, audits, and technology upgrades

- Monitor customer training records, ensuring that required training is complete on a timely basis

- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of individual customer agreements to ensure an exceptional customer experience

- Partner with the technical services team to provide customer Laboratories with the highest quality technical support, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance

**Requirements**:

- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably biotech manufacturing

- Proven ability to manage customer relationships

- Fluent in spoken and written Italian and good conversational English

- Ability to travel internationally up to 15% of working time and 70% in the initial 6-month training period
