About the Role As a Key Account Manager in our Hospital & Specialty Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the access and appropriate use of Shionogi's Hospital and Specialty (HSB) portfolio within the hospital setting.
You will manage and develop a select number of hospital accounts within your territory, ensuring that HSB objectives are met through optimal portfolio positioning.
You will work synergistically with a multifunctional team, including the Regional Access Manager (RAM) and the Medical Science Liaison (MSL), to optimize the placement of the HSB portfolio in therapy and create partnerships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Duties As a Key Account Manager, you will manage the "place in therapy" process for products.
You will develop stakeholder influence maps and coordinate with the Regional Access Manager (RAM) and Medical Science Liaison (MSL).
You will implement account plans for target hospitals and build a network of advocates for the HSB portfolio.
Managing relationships with Hospital Pharmacy and Microbiology departments will be part of your role.
You will develop and deliver area account plans, identifying strategic priorities, and collaborate with RAM for optimal access to PTO and therapeutic guidelines.
Maximizing HSB portfolio placement in clinical practice and identifying new business opportunities will be crucial.
You will engage with healthcare operators and multifunctional teams, contribute to Brand Plan strategy reviews, and analyse data to measure performance.
Building strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders is essential.
Requirements Demonstrable success in the management of the hospital market (PTO access and tender purchase) in the territory for the position Experience in medical-scientific information roles for hospital products Ideally experience in infectious disease or working with ICU physicians Desirable skills: advocacy development, negotiation, communication, proactivity, teamwork, flexibility, and innovation.
Ideally based in Sicily.
Degree in medical or scientific disciplines.
