Key Account Manager
In the Performance Materials Division, we develop innovative plastics and foams for all kinds of applications. Whether it is for cars, buildings, or sporting goods – we always look for the ideal material solution. To do this, we work closely with our customers: from production and logistics to research and sales, all the way to component testing, design consulting and simulation.
PRINCIPALI RESPONSABILITA As Key Account Manager working within an international team, you will have full commercial responsability for selling Performance Materials in a challenging and competitive environment. The Performance Materials Division product range includes Thermoplastic Polyurethanes, Polyurethane Systems, and engineering Polymers. You will be predominantly responsible for the sales of Engineering Polymers in the Italian market across all applications and industry sectors. Your sales account responsability will include large and complex key accounts, mainly with car manufacturers. You will develop, manage and support your own portfolio of accounts, selling Performance Materials to a wide range of existing and new customers, regularly reporting progress to the business. Working closely with Technical Development, you will provide technical support to customers and assist with new project requirements. Collaborating with marketing colleagues, you will monitor market trends and competitor activities at your customers, gathering information and using it to develop growth opportunities. PROFILO RICERCATO The candidate will hold a degree, preferably in engineering, chemistry or a related scientific field. The ideal candidate will have several years of proven experience in sales within the chemical business, mainly within the Italian market. Experience in the chemistry & processing of Engineering polymers will be considered an advantage. The candidate should be a self-motivated and conscientious individual, highly focused on sales and customer satisfaction, with excellent negotation, decision-making and communication skills.
