Key Account Manager
We are looking for a Key Account Manager who will be excited to help customers to digitise sales!
You will enjoy communicating with medium to large customers, from different industries.
You'll help them to understand how our product can enable their sellers to increase their productivity and boost revenue, by digitising their sales processes.
Your mission is to ensure that Apparound becomes the preferred product supplier and is considered a real partner.
**Accountabilities**:
- Manage the whole sales process: the identification of the opportunity (in collaboration with the internal team of Lead & Demand generation), the technical pre-sales involvement for complex deal, the preparation of the sales proposal, the manage of the negotiation, the signing of the offer and the formalization of the order;
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline;
- Evaluate all upsell opportunities in your account portfolio;
- Nurture and grow profitability across your account portfolio, in line with key metrics;
- Establish and maintain close contact with the management and all key decision makers or influencers within your account portfolio;
- Share knowledge and have a team first culture;
- Build and maintain positive relationships across Apparound;
- Visibly demonstrate the Apparound values: Collaborate, Innovate, Achieve.
**Experience and skills**:
- 2+ years' experience in a software key account management role (CRM or App solution for sales);
- Strong insight and experience of the current sales software marketplace;
- Experience of cold calling and nurturing contacts from a lead right through to closing the sale;
- Strong influencing skills to work across complex customer organisations;
- Ability to acquire new customer accounts and partners while at the same time the ability to manage multiple existing customer accounts;
- Ability to work at a strategic level within multiple accounts but at the same time manage the detail;
- Ability to prioritise and plan;
- Ability to draw up a customer sales project or a quote and redact a sales proposal;
- Ability to work independently and autonomously;
- Professional "get it done" attitude and work ethic;
- Resilient, willing to learn, and have a hunger to do what it takes to succeed
- Proven sales skills with the ability to close business;
- An excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate benefits and trade-offs to customers;
- Good oral and written English and Italian communication skills (additional European languages would be ideal);
- Bachelors degree in a business discipline or equivalent work experience.
