For a global technology firm that provides loss-prevention and merchandise-visibility solutions for the retail industry we are looking for a **Key Account Manager**.
Main Purpose
Key Account Manager is the link between Customers and the Company, anticipating and understanding the client's specific needs and offering solutions.
KAM is responsible for preserving the business within the account and generating new business.
His/her goal is to create credibility, build strong client relationships and earn the client's trust.
Summary
Key Account Manager analyzes and adapts new strategies to react to changing business trends.
He/she is responsible for studying and understanding market trends and knowing how they affects accounts.
Requirements/Objectives
- Planning and prioritizing personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
- Planning and managing personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
- Managing product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
- New customers acquisition.
- Maintaining and developing existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
- Using customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and updating relevant information held in these systems.
- Planning/carrying out/supporting local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrating personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e. g. , product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
- Responding to and following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities and providing relevant reports and information.
- Recording, analyzing, reporting and administering according to systems and requirements.
- Communicating, liaising, and negotiating internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Attending and presenting at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
- Attending training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Adhering to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
Education/Experience
Post graduate degree is required
Bachelor's degree is a plus
3/5 years of sales experience (selling products/services) better if in multinational companies
Excellent communications skills
High level of negotiation skills
Specific Experiences
2/3 years of sales experience with similar market will be an advantage.
Languages required
Italian/English.
