**Key Account Manager (KAM)
Objectives of the position
The Key Account Manager is managing the relation with buyers of respective OEMs, focusing energy and resources on business development to improve hit rate on business and improving Account profitability on Serial and Projects activities.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain ongoing relations with interfaces within Tier1 / OEM customers.
- Supports the Sales organization in defining the commercial scenario of the business, market strategies and possible business developments, ensuring the implementation of the agreed actions.
- Define technical and commercial offers (product, service, price) that meet customer and company expectations.
- Conducting sales acquisition activities, execution of RFQs, quotations and leading the bidding process in collaboration with the various project teams.
- Managing and coordinating Sales Administration activities for Projects and Serial life.
- Analysing competitors on a technical-economic level.
- Preparation and updating of Sales Budgets.
- Development of partnerships with customers through commercial agreements and/or joint initiatives.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Economics and/or Management Engineering or similar disciplines.
- More than 2 years' experience in automotive sales (OEM sales or sales management).
- Fluent English and Italian.
- Knowledge of OEM supplier portal management and market intelligence.
- Willingness to travel both in Italy and Europe.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication and listening skills.
