TAPSTER is leading the r:evolution of payments by enabling card issuers to offer their customers a smooth and secure way to make contactless payments.
Accelerated by Covid-19, contactless has become the new standard, making wallets, plastic cards, and physical keys increasingly irrelevant.
Consumers demand a frictionless and secure experience when doing their everyday errands: shopping, commuting, locking up their homes and cars.
While card rails remain a robust ecosystem, consumers are now abandoning the classic plastic payment card for wearables and digital wallets.
The way we pay is changing.
TAPSTER is at the forefront of this development, and we are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our fast-growing team.
You will play a critical role in developing the current client base in Italy as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities.
The position can be based in Stockholm or Milan, Italy and will require travel.
Your key tasks will include: Developing the existing client base as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Building a strong pipeline, driving contract negotiations, and closing deals.
Maintaining and nurturing relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
Working closely with your TAPSTER colleagues to develop the business.
Exploring and developing new revenue streams.
In the next stage, and for the right candidate, the next step can be to lead the building of an international sales organization.
We expect you to have: A successful track record of winning strategic long-term B2B deals, preferably within the financial industry.
Experience and understanding of the financial industry in general, and payments specifically.
Fluency in Italian and strong knowledge of the Italian financial markets.
Fluency in English An established network within the Italian banking sector.
Strong business acumen and a drive to achieve outstanding results as part of a high-performing team.
The ability to quickly gain credibility and establish trustful relationships with senior stakeholders in your client portfolio.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
