If you're ready to tackle this challenge, the role of Key Account Manager in the Embedded IoT team of Marco Del Favero is your calling. Your mission? Elevate the vertical sectors to the next level of computing and help your key customer's transition to the era of Industry Digitalization! The Embedded team is your partner in this journey pooling knowledge and resources to empower Key Accounts in Transportation, EV Charging, Green Energy, Robotics/AMR, Agriculture, Defense & Military, and Security & Surveillanc.
**Your Responsibility**:
You are Advantech's ambassador to the outside world. Together with a team of Product Managers, (Field) Application Engineers and Sales Support you will develop and maintain dedicated Key Accounts (direct sales). By focusing on the Equipment Builders in those vertical markets, your business strategy will help you build long-lasting relationships in these domains addressing the main players in the Italian market directly. We value your knowledge and relationships in the market. We have specific solutions tailored to these markets.
- You develop and maintain management and technical level relationships within key customers to position the company as a solution leader;
- You maintain and manage a sales pipeline with targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales;
- You attend conferences, trade shows, seminars and appropriate industry association meetings to stay updated and represent Advantech as partner for industrial solutions.

The Italian Embedded Systems market is your playground, and you're a familiar face in the industry. You are competitive to competitors but a team player with colleagues. You work in a team, but are not afraid to work solo when needed. Your unique blend of sales expertise and technical knowledge of Embedded systems allows you to navigate complex sales processes with ease. Key qualities we're looking for:
- You are a strong solution selling person with good communication skills that make you able to deal with all levels and find opportunities to represent Advantech as a key player in the Embedded industry for strong and lasting relationships.
- A technical education or background in areas like computer science, automation, or electronics.
- Robust Business to Business sales experience, particularly in the component, industrial, embedded, or display market.
- A proactive, independent work ethic closely aligned with management to drive key account sales.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, business planning, and execution skills, coupled with a keen sense of social business sensitivity to win over key accounts.
- Fluent proficiency in English and Italian.
