Job PurposeDevelop, implement and realize the sales/service and/or business plan and develop, structure and manage the assigned area/unit, within the overall business strategy, in order to realize commercial and business objectives.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAttaining sales, service and signed contract quotas as assigned
Identifying and profiling Accounts
Working closely with higher-level management on contract construction and negotiation
Working with company sales and service network to properly maintain accounts
Exercising discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the organization
Acting as product specialist to drive sales to increase margins
Providing consistent messages to the field regarding product training| price negotiation
Keeping up with competitor products and activity
Ensuring field staff is trained on all aspects of product lines
Attending quarterly and annual meetings regarding product performance and challenges
Communicating with Corporate Headquarters and field locations regarding product updates, applications, product concerns, warranty issues
Providing product reviews and handle all field calls on competitive product questions
Keep expenses within budgetary limits
Identify and profile potential major accounts
Work with both sales and service to maintain all major accounts
Complete activity reports after account visits
Performing other duties as assigned
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
10+ years of experience in sales
Proven sales experience
Experience with product development
Proficient computer skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Basic math skills
Effective presentation skills
Above-average reasoning and analytical skills
Ability to translate technical specs into commercial applications
Leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree preferred
