Key Account Manager Sviluppo Commerciale
For our newly established and rapidly growing Italian subsidiary König Steel Italia Srl , we are looking for a: Sales Representative – Steel Trading for sales & business development of the Italian market WE OFFER: An internationally operating company based in Austria. An independent working environment where creativity and own ideas for market and business development are welcome. Company car included, mobile phone and company laptop, also for private use. Working in a young, flexible and energetic team, with flat hierarchies. For this interesting and challenging position, we offer a competitive remuneration package, to be defined based on the experience, skills and seniority of the candidate. YOUR TASKS: Management of existing customer relationships in the Italian market. Acquisition of new customers in the domestic market (possibly international markets as well). Marketing and sales of steel products and services within a defined product portfolio. Flexible working approach from the office (internal sales) versus on the road (external sales, approximately 3 days per week). Market analysis, preparation and follow-up of sales enquiries, quotations, purchase orders with close coordination of the Group headquarters in Austria. Negotiation of prices and commercial/technical terms with customers. Negotiation with relevant material suppliers (national and international), in close coordination with the Group's central procurement. Assistance in developing the market strategy / customer and business development. Follow-up of outstanding payments / management of payment cycles with customers. Participation in trade fairs and other relevant industry events. Interaction with the Group headquarters in Austria and other Group companies in Europe. Report directly to local General Managers. IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS AND ENJOY PROFESSIONAL CHALLENGES, THEN THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR YOU: Experience in marketing and sales, business development and a strong sales/customer orientation. Preferably background in the steel industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian (native language), English (professional level), other languages, especially German, are a plus. Interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build relationships with both customers and suppliers. High level of flexibility, independence and open-minded approach. Negotiation skills and solution orientation, ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel abroad.
