Kitchen Assistant - Aged Care Kitchen, Newtown

Full Time (32 hours per week)

We have an opportunity for a reliable and energetic individual with a friendly can-do attitude to join our kitchen team at Te Hopai Home and Hospital where we serve over 900 meals every day to the 150 residents.

- support our talented chefs by keeping the kitchen clean and doing dishes.

- have an interest in developing their cooking and baking skills.

- be able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.

- be an exceptional team player with a flexible, committed, can-do attitude.

- be resilient and able to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment.

This position is for 32 hours per week working fixed shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 5. 30am - 2pm.

Previous kitchen experience is preferred in order to hit the ground running, but training will be given to someone who possesses the right attitude and motivation.
