**All about the role**:

We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Assistant passionate about testing activities and electronic equipment used daily in the Compressor & Components Lab based in Susegana TV Italy.

**What you'll do**:

Compressor & Components Lab is in charge of selecting, testing, and qualifying reciprocating compressors as well as others components for household appliances, in cooperation with global suppliers.

You will work in an international team, with a strong connection with other departments like Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and R&D both internal and external.

You will ensure that the compressors/components will be tested according to internal procedures and international standards in an autonomous way and with a high level of accuracy.

- Assist and lead testing activities according to internal procedures and international standards on compressors/components in several fields:

- Electromechanical Measurements

- Flammability

- Reliability and Environmental Stress

- Thermodynamics

- Issue reports and manage the documentation of testing activities

- Maintain and properly use the Laboratory equipment

- Guarantee proper storage and management of samples tested

- Participate actively in the process of compressors/components approval flow

- Suggest and be proactive in new testing methods to increase the overall efficiency of the Lab

- Guarantee continuous material supply of the Lab consumables

- Prepare simple cooling system circuits using a manual welding station

**Who you are**:

- You have a technical background in experimental activities

- You have a basic knowledge of the typical instruments of an electromechanical lab like voltmeter, oscilloscope, thermocouples, sensors

- Basic Knowledge of data acquisition software (like Labview) and programming techniques is a plus

- Previous experiences in a similar position will be appreciated

**Where you'll be**:

You will be based in Electrolux Food Preservation Consumer Experience office in Susegana (TV) only 1 hour distance from Venice.
