All about the role:

We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Engineer passionate about testing activities and electronic equipment to be used on a daily basis to be introduced in the Compressor & Components Lab based in Susegana TV Italy.

The Compressor & Components Lab is in charge of selecting, testing, and qualifying main components for household appliances, in cooperation with global suppliers.

The candidate will work in an international team, with strong connections to other departments like Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and R&D with a global perspective.

What you'll do:

She/he will ensure that the compressors/components will be tested according to internal procedures and international standards in an autonomous way and with a high level of accuracy.

In detail, you will:

Assist and lead testing activities according to internal procedures and international standards on compressors/components in several fields like:Electromechanical MeasurementsFlammabilityReliability and Environmental StressThermodynamicsNoise and VibrationIssue reports and manage the documentation of testing activitiesGuarantee proper storage and management of samples testedParticipate actively in the process of compressors/components approval flowSuggest and be proactive in new testing methods to increase the overall efficiency of the LabGuarantee continuous material supply of the Lab consumablesPrepare simple cooling system circuits using a manual welding stationBe able to design and realize simple testing set-ups with data automation and controllingWho you are: Technical backgroundBasic knowledge of the typical instruments of an electromechanical lab like voltmeter, oscilloscope, thermocouples, sensorsBasic Knowledge of data acquisition software (like Labview) or development environment like Arduino is a plusPrevious experiences in a similar position will be appreciatedWhere you'll be:

You will be based in Electrolux's main Food Preservation global site, in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4. 0 investment.

Here you will interact with different functions of the organization such as Quality, Maintenance, R&D, Production, and Supply Chain with the common goal to create the refrigeration of the future.
