Laboratory Leader The candidate will have a deep understanding of the chemical industry environment and dynamics, polymer chemistry, testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance as well as a proven track record of managing and developing complex and heterogeneous technical teams.

As a key leader, the Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratories, manage laboratories sub-teams, comprising of small teams of technicians and scientists, and drive the development of innovative solutions to support our manufacturing and product development processes.

The manager will be pivotal to assure a pragmatic and time-conscious approach to every technical activity run in the laboratories and to boost the customer-centric mindset of the technical community.

Main responsibilities:Lead and manage laboratories sub-teams, personnel, including technicians, scientists, and support staff, to ensure efficient and accurate testing and analysis of materials and products.

Collaborate with production and all the laboratories teams to develop new formulations and improve existing products and processes.

Oversee the quality control process for raw materials and finished products, ensuring all outputs meet company strategic goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure that all laboratory operations comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, including handling of hazardous materials.

Provide mentorship and guidance to laboratory staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management on lab performance, project updates, budget, and compliance status.
