? For the development of our Power Electronics Business Unit, we are currently looking for a Laboratory Manager – Power Electronics Segment. By becoming a member of a UNI CEI ISO/IEC 17025 Testing Laboratory, you will be part of a growing team which is pivotal in ensuring the quality of produced electrical power by decentralized and renewable energies.
The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the operations of the Laboratory in the assigned specializing in Power Electronics (Power Converters, PV inverter, BESS, EVSE, OBC) products testing for safety and grid code compliance. Job DescriptionPlans, organizes, and supervises work and equipment for the operation of the Laboratory, specifically focusing on Power Electronics testing. Participates in development of testing concepts and methodologies for power converters, PV inverters, EVSE, BESS (PCS and Batteries) and OBC products, with a strong focus on safety, quality, efficiency and automation.
Is accountable for the availability, maintenance, and calibration of testing equipment according to internal and external requirements, including high power/voltage DC and AC simulators, power analyzer and equipment for safety testing. Maintains equipment database and Laboratory information management systems. Supports the development of new services by developing innovative testing methods and procedures tailored to Power Electronics. Supervises Laboratory staff both disciplinarily and technically, providing initial training and ongoing feedback. Ensures compliance with accreditation standards (CB and ISO/IEC 17025) and participates in accreditation audits. RequirementsMaster's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience Further QualificationsProfessional Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in Power Electronics testing and related areas. Accreditation Audit Experience: Hands-on experience with CB and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation audits. Technical Skills: Knowledge and experience with high power simulators and compliance testing.
