The Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that OCD System Verification studies and training for new equipment are completed.
Upon completion of the OCD crossover, data is presented to the customer and the new system leading to TOR (Test of Record) in a timely manner.
The LS will also support onsite training of laboratory personnel.
- Conducts follow up with customers and provides continued support/training post implementation.
- Works with internal resources and the customer, to solve scientific and technical issues in a prompt and timely manner.
This includes escalating complaints received from the customer to the appropriate to TSC (Technical Support Center), providing all required data and activities and following the OCD Complaint Handling Procedures.
- Consults with the customer and local account team in order to ensure optimum utilization of OCD products and systems.
Initiates and implements assay additions.
- Maintains Compliance in documentation (FSM/SFDC) reflecting the work in the field.
- Access eConnectivity Tool to verify equipment, controls, calibration and maintenance.
Provide reports periodically to the Customer.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
The Individual
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biomedicine, Pharmacist or other BS degree equivalent.
- 2-3 years related experience in a clinical laboratory or equivalent experience.
- English intermedium level.
- Excel and PPT intermedium level.
- 70% domestic travel (within territory; and within region/area/country) to support business needs and 5% international travel.
The Work Environment
- The work environment characteristics are representative of a laboratory and include to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) and lift up to 25 pounds.
- This position requires up to 75% travel which may include hotel stays and air travel.
