Tasks

- Works secure at all times to ensure safety of all team members

- Timely obtains samples from the process area, performs analyses following given procedures and reports data in the systems

- Timely records data in logbooks, clipboard sheets and in the systems

- Transmits laboratory results pertinent to various areas, e. g. , Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance by computer or telephone

- Notifies the affected areas of results out of specification and equipment failure

- Notifies appropriate laboratory personnel or maintenance about equipment issues.

- Uses standard laboratory equipment, analytical balances, calculators and other specialized equipment, RV measurement systems, moisture analyzers, and various computer software.

- Cleans and assembles particular laboratory instruments and equipment

- Ensures proper storage or disposal of samples after analysis, as well as proper waste handling

- Attends production meetings

- Helps solving issues brought by the production operators

- Performs complaint data analysis

Job Requirements

- Field of education: Laboratory, Chemistry, Chemical Technology or Process Technology at minimum of MBO level (or comparable)

- Strongly developed analytical skills with a learning attitude

- Result-oriented team player with excellent communication and organizational skills

- Willing to grow with the technical developments that take place through internal and external training courses

- Communicative skills and the ability to act effectively and in a team context

- Experience in manufacturing environment (preferred)
