TMC Italia is looking for an Engineer or Physicist to provide support on Laser systems for space applications or defence.

Technology & Engineering Energy & Renewables Life sciences & Pharma Digital & IT About this vacancy System design of Laser and Lidar for space applications Laser systems engineering and electro-optical devices for the development of demonstrators and advanced prototypes in the field of L-DEW and high-power optical applications.

What we expect from you MSc degree in Electronic Engineering or Physics with focus in Optics and/or Quantum Optics, Photonics, Optoelectronics or Solid-state physics; PhD in related activities will be considered a plus; 1-3 years of experience; Knowledge of programming languages for HW interface (e. g. , LabVIEW, Python, C++); Experience in optical simulation and lasers: ability to design, build, and align optical benches for laser beam characterization; Knowledge of E/O instrumentation and laser measurement equipment (radiometers, profilometers, oscilloscopes, photodiodes, spectroscopes, etc.

); Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written).
