OverviewScope of Position: The Laundry Attendant performs a variety of laundry duties to provide clean and sanitary linens for our guests, including but not limited to washing, drying, pressing, sorting and inspecting items for wear and stains. Reports to: Team Leader, Housekeeping and LaundryWinShape Foundation is a Biblically-based Christian non-profit organization that seeks to glorify God by creating transformational, Christ-centered experiences for people in every stage of life.

We do this through five core ministries that each use scriptural truth to offer summer camp, foster care, team and leader development, college student discipleship, and marriage enrichment.

ResponsibilitiesSorts, washes, dries and folds laundryPresses linens and chef coatsRemoves stains where possible and contacts management when an item is too damaged to continue usingOperates washers, dryers, and pressers in accordance with safety standardsReads and understands directions for operating machines and recognizes when a machine is not functioning properlyCleans laundry according to set standards and within set time limitsMaintains laundry room and equipment in a clean and orderly mannerPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferredPrevious laundry experience preferred, none requiredAbility to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
