Local Unit & Position Description:

- Performs 3rd party certification audits for Italian and international customers in Aquaculture schemes (i. e.

GlobalGap Aqua, ASC Farm)

- Performs 2nd party audits/assessments on behalf of customers and their suppliers in Aquaculture field

- Maintain schedule of audit activity with customers

- Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective action and closure

- Prioritize and focus on matters of significance and understand the appropriateness and consequences of using sampling techniques for auditing;

- Verify the accuracy of collected information and be aware of the significance and appropriateness of audit evidence to support audit findings and conclusions;

- Understand and assess those factors that can affect the reliability of the audit findings and conclusions

- assume the leadership role during discussions and other situations in order to resolve issues;

- have knowledge and investigative skills to detect and document evidence of non-conformities;

Position Qualifications:

- At least a post high school diploma or equivalent (minimum course duration of 2 years) in a discipline related to the scope Aquaculture

- Basic knowledge in Veterinary Medicine

- Basic Experience in Auditing (2nd Part Audits)

- A minimum of 3 years of experience relevant to Aquaculture

- Ability to travel extensively appr.

3-4 days a week

- Fluent Italian and good knowledge of English language (in speaking and writing)

- 5 days Lead Auditor recognized course (one or more schemes ISO 9k, ISO 14k, SA8000)

- Additional languages such as Spanish, French, Croatian or Albanian
