**About the role**:
The **Lead Auditor** is a function in DNV Business Assurance Italy with the objective of leading the audit team in performing audits/assessment according to DNV standards and protocols, international standards or equivalent national standards and according to the established DNV methodologies/rules.
IATF 16946:2016 Lead Auditor for MSC is the figure who, within the Audit Group, possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to coordinate and conduct 3rd party audits (certification audit) with demonstrated experience in Automotive sector.
**In the role of a Lead Auditor you will**:
- Proceed with regular auditing field activities;
- Manage relationships clients and implement an approach of total customer focus.
- Carry out in efficient and competent manner the work for DNV as required by instructions/ Quality System and/or as per formal agreement between the client and DNV.
- Ensure that the independent nature of the DNV scheme is not compromised at any time.
- Maintain/acquire his/her Auditor Registration with DNV or any other registration having been a basis for his acceptance as Lead Auditor within DNV.
- Plan and execute audits, report findings and follow-up, when necessary, within agreed times scales and economic frameworks.
- Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas.
- Develop and maintain positive relationship with client personnel.
- Maintain high morale by contributing to an effective positive work environment.
- Act as a team player who works well with others and guides through professional development process, including timely completion of reviews and goal setting.
- Maintain effective communication with line management, between audit team members and client stakeholders.
- Ensure the correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and the communication of updated data, in order to allow proper issue and management of certificates.
- Perform typical back-office tasks such as contacting customers to confirm the planned activities.

- four (4) years full time appropriate practical experience (including two (2) years dedicated
- to Quality Assurance and/or Quality Management activities) within the past fifteen (15) years in an organization meeting the applicability of IATF 16949.
- Knowledge of the automotive core tools.
- Be in possession of qualification as Lead auditor iso 9001.
- Have conducted at least six (6) ISO 9001 third party audits in manufacturing industries, with at least three (3) as audit team leader.
- Has successfully completed IATF 16949 3rd Party New Auditor Training (4 days) and passed all exams and assessments.
- Fluent Italian and good knowledge of English language.
- Demonstrated evidence of excellent communication, relationship management and conflict resolution.
- Ability to build good relationship with customers.
- Ability to coordinate, manage an Auditors Team assigned.
- Strong and proven attitude to auditing, including mobility, flexibility, working under pressure, respect of deadline, relations with clients etc.
- Ability to handle basic software programs and IT tools.
- Highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
