As a Lead Data Architect, you will shape the strategic technology landscape of Sky Data, ensuring alignment with business goals, driving innovation and enabling key strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with Sky stakeholders to understand company needs, designing the strategic evolution, working closely with the key peers to oversee the progress over its roll-out. Key responsibilities:Lead the strategy, design and innovation of the Data Architecture in Sky Italia, as well as enabling the overarching Group strategy, collaborating with other relevant Sky markets. Engage with key stakeholders at various organizational levels to ensure data solutions align with business, product and technological strategies and objectives. Supervise architectural designs in all key data related programs impacting platform, personalization, insights generation and AI based solutions. Define the high-level impact of technological choices, supervising their enterprise level adoption, guaranteeing security, scalability and value enabled. Manage and coordinate a team of experienced Data Architects, while ensuring alignment with other data, engineering and architecture disciplines. Skills/experience:Excellent problem-solving skills, mastering new complex areas, able to find new solutions to solve unconventional problems Extensive experience with evolutionary Data architectures, API strategy and micro-servicesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at more senior levelsAI Machine Learning experience in delivering use cases and building long term sustainable architecturesStrong experience with Cloud based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP), exploiting the scalability, flexibility and cost-efficient resource usage. Strong Experience with Data Processing and Storage platforms and tools such as Apache Air Flow, Apache Beams, Spark, Iceberg, etc. Experience with data security and data governanceBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar a field. Capability to explain or advocate architecture solutionsEntrepreneurial approach to problems focusing on the business value of the solutions. Languages: English and Italian.
