As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a modern data platform, ensuring data governance and ultimately enabling advanced analytics capabilities and data science models.

We are seeking a forward-thinking individual who possesses a clear understanding of the structure and development of a data engineering team and who is able to split their time between team management and individual contribution.

We are looking for a candidate who continuously updates their knowledge base with the evolving tools and technologies within this domain and who exhibits a comprehensive understanding of structuring and fostering a data engineering team.

Requirements: 6+ years professional experience as Data Engineer

1+ years managing Data Engineers

Experience with ETL tools, such as Talend

Hands-on experience with relational databases and cloud databases, in particular Redshift

Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, Spark, Java

Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Italian and proficiency in English

Experience in Data Architecture: Cloud Architecture, Data & Solution Architecture, API, Amazon Web Services

Requirement analysis and data governance

Preferred skills & experience: AWS Glue or dbt

Web API integrations

Google Cloud
