POSITION : Lead Data Engineer Work Exp : 7 to 11Yrs Location : Bangalore Ols Airport Road EMPLOYMENT TYPE : FullTime Work Mode : Hybrid Model Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days Budget : Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with experience in Snowflake data modelling data infrastructures etc.

Responsibilities: Database Development: Design develop and maintain SQL databases including creating tables views stored procedures functions and triggers.

SQL Query Optimization: Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

Database Architecture & Modeling: Design and implement database schemas data models and database structures that align with business requirements and best practices.

Performance Tuning & Monitoring: Monitor database performance identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve database performance and scalability.

Data Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain database security measures ensure data integrity and comply with industry regulations and best practices for data handling.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders business analysts and other teams to understand requirements provide database solutions and support business objectives.

Code Reviews & Standards: Conduct code reviews establish coding standards and ensure adherence to best practices in database development.

Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain documentation for databases processes and procedures.

Generate reports as required to track database performance and activities.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve databaserelated issues troubleshoot errors and provide technical support to resolve database problems.

Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and guidance to team members on SQL best practices new technologies and methodologies.

Adopting New Technologies: Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in SQL and database development to implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements: Minimum of 7 years experience writing SQL and stored procedures Minimum of 7 years experience in software engineering BE/BTech degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Mastery in 1 or more TIOBETop10 programming languages (Python/C# is preferred) Knowledge of ETL/Data Warehousing concepts Experience with SQL Server Strong experience with modern database technologies like Snowflake Nice to have experience with dbt/dbtcloud technologies Familiarity with cloud ETL orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory Experience with using source control like GIT Azure Devops Intermediate written/verbal skills Intermediate skill with contemporary engineering process (e. g.

agile scrum Kanban) Personality & Attributes: Quick learner Taking ownership of project end to end Detail oriented Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to collaborate with different teams and able to execute projects in a timely manner.
