Lead Electrical Machines Engineer (m/f/d) Ready to Innovate and Lead?

As a Lead Electrical Machines Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and refining electrical machines and brakes that power the next generation of elevators.

What You'll Be Doing: Develop designs for new components and solutions and define interfaces under consideration of overall system architecture, requirements, and production constraints (e. g. , cost, quality, space, manufacturing. . . ); Design owner with life cycle responsibility for the design solution and R&D entry gate for technical queries (scope of products defined in PNC); Ensures quality of implemented solution by performing code reviews, design and FEM calculations and analysis, simulations, cost analysis, cross-functional design reviews, and possible testing support; Perform root-cause analysis for findings in collaboration with R&D testing teams and/or field representatives; Maintain existing components and (sub-) systems by implementing defect fixes and improvements; Keep track of technology trends, propose use of new ideas and technologies in Schindler's mechanical landscape, and generate IP proposals and patents for new ideas.

Further requirements include:

Your experience : a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with proven experience in electrical machines or systems; Your Skills : solid expertise in 3D CAD software (Creo and Windchill) and FEM calculations.

Experience with SAP is also highly valued; Your Mindset : you're a proactive leader with a problem-solving mindset, capable of guiding and inspiring a team.

You have a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail; Languages : fluency in English is essential, and German is a plus.
