Schindler is looking for an experienced leader for End-to-End Test Automation for our Connected Solutions, a key position within our R&D team.

This is your opportunity to lead the charge in shaping the future of Io T-based products and services, collaborating across edge, cloud, APIs, and mobile app solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Define and implement the test automation strategy for Io T solutions, covering edge devices, cloud, APIs, and web & mobile applications Establish best practices and tools for automated testing to ensure high-quality standards in functionality, performance, reliability, scalability, and security Collaborate with architects and technical leads to align testing goals with business objectives and technical vision Select and implement automation tools and frameworks for testing across Io T solutions Work closely with Dev Ops engineers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for smooth, rapid, and reliable releases Ensure comprehensive test coverage, including performance, security, and functionality testing Define and track quality metrics and create automated reporting systems for clear visibility into test results Foster a culture of collaboration and a continuous improvement mindset across teams Mentor and coach test engineers to adopt automation tools, frameworks, and cutting-edge practices like AI/ML tools for predictive testing.

What You Need to Succeed: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus) Passion for quality and technology, with deep expertise in Io T ecosystems, and test automation tools and frameworks for edge, cloud, web, and mobile applications Experience leading test automation in an international, distributed environment with changing priorities Proven experience in Agile methodologies and managing distributed teams in complex Io T projects Solid understanding of Io T architectures, including edge devices, cloud platforms (preferably Azure), APIs, and mobile applications Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Python or Java Script Familiarity with CI/CD integration, and platforms such as Jenkins and Azure Dev Ops Experience with performance and security testing, as well as cloud platforms (specifically Microsoft Azure) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues across edge-to-cloud ecosystems Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to navigate diverse groups, manage priorities, and resolve conflicts.
