**Position Overview

TIBCO is looking for a highly talented Cloud Architect to join the Technology and Cloud Alliances team.

This team is responsible for developing and executing high-value, high-impact strategic partnerships with leading cloud providers (e. g. , AWS, Microsoft Azure and GCP) and ISVs.

The position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Technology & Cloud Alliances.

**What You'll Do**:

The Cloud Architect will:

- Be responsible for building scalable, reliable and cost optimized deployment architectures of enterprise solutions for cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), that utilize providers native cloud services and orchestration tools to support the reference architecture.

- Craft architecture blueprints, establish best practices specific for cloud deployments, and add native automation and integration solutions for common customer use cases, bringing in cost savings, improving speed of delivery, performance and scalability inherent to cloud adoption.

- Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads and software architects to

- Collaborate closely with our cloud partner Solution Architects and teams, reviewing existing systems to identify areas for improvement and monitoring the outcome of new or upgraded architecture against industry guidelines and security standards.

- Design solutions covering a spread of technology concerns such as security, tenant isolation in compute and storage, hybrid networking, CI/CD to reduce time to market, rightsizing and auto-scaling of infrastructure, purpose-built databases to name a few.

**Who You Are**:

- 6+ years of professional experience in any of the following roles - Technology Architect, Consultant, Cloud Architect, Technical Lead, Software Developer, Engineering Lead, Sales Engineer, Pre Sales Engineer, Systems Engineers, etc.

- 3+ years of experience in a design and/or support role for cloud and/or hybrid solutions on one or more cloud platform providers (E. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience and/or deeper understanding in one or more technology areas.

Specific knowledge in multiple technology domain areas (e. g. , software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

- Experience creating proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.

- Ability to learn new technology and develop industry relevant architectures and convey business value is critical to the role.

- Ability to understand and articulate common architectural patterns and design principles.

- Ability to lead complex technical projects, which may require the participation of other teams to deliver.

- Ability to create technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others.

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- One or more of the following certifications: Microsoft Azure Solution Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architecture Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years experience in a role requiring the creation of Architecture Diagrams, developing and/or documenting standard operating procedures and/or deployment best practices.

- Experience in designing and implementing modernized architectures and automation using cloud infrastructure technologies, Well Architected Frameworks, Cloud Adoption Frameworks etc.

- Deep knowledge and experience in IaaS, PaaS and cloud solution design (i. e. , microservices, messaging, distributed caching, containers, IAM, resiliency, geo-availability, etc)

- Experience with scalable architectures using API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e. g. , Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, etc.

), API management, microservice frameworks, SDKs, etc.

- Eligible to work in Ireland
