The successful candidate will be working remotely in China.
JOB DESCRIPTION SALES MANAGER APAC The primary responsibilities include:
NETWORKING WITH DISTRIBUTORS:
The goal is to find winning partners able to sell Akott products and grow the business. Responsibilities include:
• Evaluation of the current distributors network to match expectations.
• Proposing new distributors or agents in the Territory if needed.
• Setting up the best distributors network to achieve positive results.
• Monitoring and supervising distributors' yearly Forecast commitment.
• Supervision of distributors' activities (projects in progress, customer visits, sampling, etc. ).
• Discussion of pricing strategy with Akott management. CONSTANT CONTACTS WITH DISTRIBUTORS:
• Emails, phone calls, webinars, and web calls with distributors (supporting them technically and strategically).
• Encouraging distributors to promote Akott products.
• Following up on distributors' projects in progress.
• Checking samples and gathering distributors' feedback.
• Supervising and providing feedback on Akott digital media activities (newsletters, social media, website, magazine articles, etc. ).
• Updating distributors with news and useful information for their promotion.
• Requesting quarterly reports from distributors (March, June, September, December).
• Conducting web calls with distributors for business plan reviews and product training. VISITING DISTRIBUTORS:
• Visiting distributors in their country from one to two times per year (minimum), and more if needed based on strategy.
• Providing product training to the distributor's sales team.
• Joining customer calls with distributors.
• Managing workshops/seminars with distributors' customers.
• Analyzing distributors' promotion of Akott products to evaluate effectiveness.
• Attending trade shows with distributors in their countries as required.
• Managing workshops for distributors at IN COSMETICS ASIA in Bangkok and attending the Akott booth with colleagues.
