**Partner with the best

As a Lead Logistics Operation Supervisor, you will play a key role inside Logistic team for Livorno and Avenza sites.

You will be responsible to supervise the overall logistic activities of B&P, Quality, Warehouse, Handling, Storage, Biosecurity ensuring flawless execution and HSE policy.

You will also supervise shipping operations related to Livorno and Marina di Carrara Port.

As a Lead Logistics Operation Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

- Monitoring logistic provider to ensure On Time transactions and packing closure according to KPIs

- Preventing and managing priorities and criticalities to ensure to meet business targets

- Supporting the execution of risk mitigation plan related to logistic activities supporting supply chains on urgencies and criticalities.

- Partnering with Functions and Quality to support on time issues resolution, cooperating with Procurement and Logistic team to deliver minimizing cost and improving efficiency

- Overseeing critical activities during material transfer and inventory assessment, ensuring quality and HSE

- Conducting visual and quality inspections during the logistic activities as per applicable documentation (including biosecurity process)

- Supervising staging and warehouse area performing regular inspections to detect quality issues and manage resolution

- Managing Non-Conformity, Root Cause Analysis, Preservation Inspection Plan completion and routings verification/closure

- Monitoring and auditing all transactions inside ERP, to assure that system and material status are correctly updated

- Being accountable for EHS and Quality targets, leading regular inspections

- Supporting B&P activities, warehouse and staging area management (including biosecurity process and Customer's Inspector visit)

- Supporting Vendor Recovery negotiations providing evidence, and Interplants & farm-out transportation activities

To be successful in this role you will:

- Show good experience in Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain

- Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new products and business areas

- Be able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a complex working environment

- Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems

- Show an analytical approach to problem-solving and be motivated and focused on results.

- Be fluent in English (Italian knowledge is also preferred) and hold an EU passport

- Have a technical background, with the ability to influence functional stakeholders and Customer, or Project Management expertise.

- Have a BSc from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance or alternative MBA is preferred.

- Be able and willing to travel for short customer meetings
