Lead Med Techs Key Responsibilities: Promote a cordial environment for residents, families, visitors, and co-workers; assist in maintaining a "home-like" environment. Complete SigmaCare required documentation for medication and treatment administration on the SigmaCare EMAR and ETAR. Follow up on SigmaCare dashboard to prevent delays/non-compliance. Responsible for medication administration including timely administration ensuring that services are provided to residents in a safe and secure manner. Reorder medications in a timely & efficient manner ensuring that no residents go without medication. Provide accurate follow-through for written/faxed orders from physician to pharmacy. Provide or assist residents with ADLs such as but not limited to bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, nail care, and eating. Answer all call lights promptly and with a great attitude. Report any changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse promptly. Complete required documentation in accordance with Community policies and State and/or Federal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Lead Med Techs Requirements: High school diploma or GED. CPR certification. Medication Administration Training is preferred. Three years' experience working as a med tech, nursing assistant, or certified nursing assistant in a long-term care setting.
