Job Description Thermo Fisher Scientific, a world leader in serving science, is seeking a Lead for the Visual Inspection department located in Monza (MB). The resource will operate in a department where automatic, semi-automatic, and manual visual inspections of sterile drugs in vials (liquid and lyophilized forms) or pre-filled syringes are performed. The Lead will report to the Visual Inspection Supervisor and will collaborate daily with quality and all other functions on-site to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver products to patients. The Lead will coordinate the activities assigned to them, ensuring proper collaboration among operators.
Purpose of the Position/Responsibilities: The Lead is responsible for achieving quantity and quality objectives for production activities in the VI DPS department through planning and controlling production activities on a daily and weekly basis, in compliance with company quality procedures and standards, safety regulations, environmental impact guidelines, and supervisor directives.
Specific Tasks/Primary Activities: Pianificazione della produzione: Contributes to ensuring adequate production planning within the weekly and daily timeframes by assigning tasks to operators, respecting the indications of the Planning and Scheduler. Ensure production meets the planned quantities, timelines, and quality through supervision of production activities, control of Batch Records, and documentation related to performed tasks, in compliance with the master batch record regarding quantity, timelines, quality, GMP, and company quality standards. Support leadership in overseeing the application of SOPs by adhering to the master batch record instructions, verifying process sampling, and ensuring that recorded production data complies with GMP and current procedures before submission to Quality Assurance, in accordance with company quality policies and procedures. Requirements and Qualifications: Degree in CTF, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Diploma with prior experience in the role. Two years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or food industry. Proficiency in Italian and English. Ability to manage and coordinate resources with strong leadership skills. Willingness to work shifts (both continuous and night shifts). Responsibility and flexibility.
