JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a global general contractor who are looking for a Lead Planner to join their data centre project team in Milan, Frankfurt or Vienna.

Responsibilities: Demonstrate the abilities to create, update & monitor a project programme and communicate with project team, subcontractor and client Develop bid programmes to support and compliment bid submissions Develop, maintain and review detailed master construction programmes and project controls procedures for live projects Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation Continually update relevant project documentation following internal procedures Development of the project programmes with relevant parties, including sub-contractors and supplier Account management of existing clients, building long term partnerships Business development activities with new clients Complete responsibility for your project and may assists others in projects as the need arises Liaise with stakeholders to review progress of projects, supporting risk identification and proactive problem solving Ensure projects are completed within specified timescales, specifications and budgets Actively encourage/develop alternative construction techniques to achieve better timescales, whilst maintaining the project requirements for budget, quality and safety Maintaining records of the project timeframes and achievements for future reference Support and actively encourage the development of direct report/s Create and sustain schedules for the pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases, whilst keeping progress reporting up to date Establish project schedule resource requirements Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action You will be the Planning representative in Client & Subcontractor meetings Requirements: Degree in Engineering / Construction Management required or a HNC in a relevant engineering discipline Experience in the construction industry, preferably main contractor experience.

Substantial experience, across a wide range of engineering projects, preferably data centres, with a good understanding of commercial and contractual matters.

An understanding of programming techniques A sound knowledge of typical production rates You will have excellent communications skills and strong analytical and logical skills Proficiency in Primavera Software P6 The ability to work to defined, often challenging, timescales
