**What we're looking for**:
As a specialist in specific Security and Application Delivery, subset of the Citrix solutions, you will be responsible for major opportunity development along with leading opportunities within an assigned account base.
**Position Overview**:You will be a true sales leader, prospecting and responsible for the creation of new networking opportunities within the existing Account and Field Sales Manager account space in coordination with the account owners.
These opportunities are typified by predominantly networking product components, are often large in volume complex in nature.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will develop major Security and Application Delivery opportunities and pipeline.
- You will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets based on CITRIX Networking and Security products.
- You have solid understanding of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcoming objections, return on investment analysis, closing the sale through appropriate procurement vehicle (shrink wrap, licensing, etc.
)
- Ability to empower, train and conduct seminars to drive mind share within partners to increase Citrix revenues within assigned territory
- Great affinity with security and networking technology and knowledge of complementary Software and hardware solutions.
- Experience in solution selling with a value-added customer approach in Networking technology sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism and the ability to build trust with customers and partners and CITRIX teams and is comfortable leading partners
- Strong experience of selling in the I. T.
and Networking business and experience with large and enterprise level externally focused quotas (over $2M USD/annum)
**Preferred** **skills/qualifications**:
- Strong hunter with consistent track record of success in developing new business
- Solid understanding of Application Delivery and Security and excellent understanding of Citrix Application Delivery and Security Value proposition
- Consultative selling style able to translate these into business outcomes (reduced TOC, % increase in reliability, Increased security, increased end-user experience etc.
)
- Extensive contact database populated with I. T.
directors and budget owners and demonstrates the ability to capitalize on these.
Large Enterprise account knowledge is helpful
- Prior territory sales experience in a high tech environment in a direct sales environment with a proven track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology
- Results oriented, meeting unexpected situations and anticipate, and mitigate barriers to booking success
- Accurate and dependable forecasting
- Fluent Italian and English is needed
