The Lead Quality Control Analyst is responsible for leading a team performing finished product testing activities in accordance with GMP standards and FDA/ISO regulations and manage day-to-day operations within the laboratory. In this role, the associate will have the opportunity to drive process improvement and efficiency through key laboratory performance indicators, develop interpersonal and leadership skills in a dynamic work setting, and pursue growth opportunities within the quality control department.

This position is part of the Quality Organization and will be located in Lodi, CA on-site. This is a 12 hour Shift Position, D shift. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Perform and document laboratory testing of finished product per standard operating procedures. Support continuous improvement of QC processes, laboratories, and overall work environment. Work closely with cross functional teams to identify and overcome challenges, and win as a team. The essential requirements of the job include:

High School Degree (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of quality control related work experience, or AA or Technical Degree with 2-4 years with 5+ years of related work experience. 1+ year of leadership experience. Attention to detail while working in a high-throughput, fast-paced environment. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Handling hazardous biological and chemical materials. Working in a GMP compliance environment. The hourly range for this role is $35. 00 – $45. 00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
