Construction Department The Construction team is responsible for the entire process flow of delivering the physical data centers from shovel-ready state through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, and management along the way.

Construction implements and executes upon the work product developed by the Development & Engineering (D&E) team.

The team also manages Vantage's build partners to success through technical feedback and review, and actively participating in review of schedule and budget.

One thing that distinguishes Vantage is that our construction teams are given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process.

POSITION OVERVIEW Vantage is looking for ambitious, detail-oriented, hands-on Schedulers in EMEA to support our portfolio of projects during Construction, starting with strategic program review, health check and reporting through the General Contractor selection process & procurement through Commissioning to project close out.

You will join the Construction team and provide professional scheduling capabilities, using your experience and VDC's procedures to create, critically assess and report on project schedules.

You will be expected to guide and support the project team's decision making, ensure schedule best practice and VDC planning processes are followed.

This role is based in Milan.

Essential Job Functions/Duties Supporting the development of early project schedules, working closely with the New Side Development teams to build reliable schedules based upon known benchmarking (both internal and external)Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for schedulingSupport teams in assessing General Contractor (GC) schedule capability and competency in advance of signing contractsSupport the onboarding of GCs to ensure understanding of and compliance with the Vantage Data Centre (VDC) Contractor schedule specificationResponsible for project schedule health checks and general schedule quality assurance against GC developed schedules and working with technical disciplines to ensure schedule is representative of the works being delivered on site. Monitor schedule changes and identify potential risk of delaysMaintaining the project schedules in the P6 DatabaseEnsure the Primavera database is updated in a timely manner to support portfolio reportingConsolidate data and build up schedule benchmarking competenceCreate, review, and analyse critical path schedules independently, in an efficient and comprehensive mannerDevelop comprehensive plans that communicate the programs, projects, and strategic goalsCommunicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project's goals (verbal, written, graphically)Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project proceduresHost and train teams on pull and collaborative planning. Work with vertical peers focusing on continuous improvement to our business processesSupport the project teams in risk analysis including performance of QSRA as required. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of planning experience using Primavera P6. Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projectsAbility to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all levels of designExperience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management is a requirementExpert knowledge and extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools, such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and WordExpected travel is approx.
