How to contribute to our vision.
As a lead technician at Siemens Gamesa, you will be one of our integral parts in the upkeep of production time for our customers.
- Troubleshooting (Unscheduled incidents at Windfarms), First level support resolving issues that arise during execution
- Contributes to maintenance activities on turbine and/or site level
- Validate and approve completed checklists - standard and non-standard work
- Gather information for incident investigation
- Weekly support of Mean Time Between Visits (MTBV) productivity
- Analysis and change of gearbox and hydraulic unit oil
- Report deviations to work orders (WO), checklists (ZCH), Records and incidents
- Analysis of repetitive faults with the aim of implementing improvement plans
- Provide feedback to and offer suggestions to improvement of the work procedures.
- Technical Assistance to the Maintenance Team
- Analysis and distribution of the Service Bulletin
- General warehouse maintenance and cleaning
- Process and tool implementation and adherence
- Service team supervision
- Service team development
- Assessing turbine visits - tools, documentation, materials
- Setting to work safely for daily operations
- Day to day management of all wind farm activities
- Requesting the order of needed materials
- Ensures availability of work instructions/procedures
- Analysis of repetitive faults with the aim of implementing improvement plans
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
You have a flexible schedule and have a driving license B, as you will be driving to our different sites.
If you get offered the position you will be getting a health check and a drug test before you start.
You can communicate clearly both in Norwegian and English, and you preferably already live in the area or are ready to move to the region.

We believe that you have a technical interest, like to learn new skills and solve issues independently.
- Are responsible and have a high safety awareness.
- Good computer knowledge.
It will be an advantage to have driver's license for forklift, snow mobile, and trailer.
Interest and skills in the use of digital platforms and tools.
To succeed in this position, you need to be independent and take initiative, while also being a great team player.
You take ownership of the job and focus on delivering the highest of quality.
