We need Experienced Technical Specialist with prior Industry Experience in Polyurethane Foam segment preferably in Insulation and Slabstock segments. The Individual chosen for this role would be part of Global Segment team, a network around the world which offers opportunities to interact and collaborate with colleagues in many countries.

**Responsibilities / Duties**:

- Provide Superior Technical Service to our strategic customers, regional distributors enabling growth for the business.

- Partner with Sales & Marketing to develop value-creating solutions and/or products for the customers.

- Consistently applies the scientific method to solve technical problems.

Recognizes patentable ideas, participates on patent teams and generates critical data.

Takes the lead in initiating confidentiality agreements with customers and patent disclosures to protect Dow's intellectual capital.

- Leads Commercialization projects to implement solutions for new opportunities and ultimately deliver value to customers and Dow.

- Communicates and documents work in the form of internal reports/ROC's/presentations and external publications/presentations (when appropriate).

Draft and submit patent disclosures as appropriate.

- Serves on multi-disciplinary project teams to collaborate, provide technical input, and deliver results aligned with team deliverables.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or science related field required.

- Masters degree or PhD preferred

- Knowledge of Urethane Chemistry and Silicone Chemistry would be important

Ability to juggle many activities/opportunities & pivot quickly to meet customer needs
