**Position Summary

Primary resource for supporting the Veniano and Siziano Plants in their Lean Transformation through the implementation of the Parker Lean System (PLS).

Delivers practical, hands-on training to associates in PLS methodology and tools to eliminate waste in all manufacturing and support functions, to develop associates and enabling full implementation in all functional areas of both locations.

Measures and reports progress on an on-going basis.

**Responsibilities

- Makes sure to implement Lean Imperatives in accordance with Group/Division/H&C Ops Directives.

- Guides all employees in the implementation of Parker Lean System initiatives in Veniano and Siziano.

- Works with site leadership and Division Lean manager on lean implementation using Parker Lean Systems as the principal tool.

- Ensures the development of a robust Lean Future State Strategy to be implemented at the sites.

- Ensures adherence to PLS standards for the Site-, Value Stream

- and Team Improvement Boards, enabling a PDCA culture and progression of the Lean Journey and supporting Value Stream Managers in promoting team concepts.

- Ensures on-going education of employees at the site within PLS.

Promotes a continuous learning environment.

- Responsible for having updated Value Stream Maps in cooperation with all other functions - Assist and support the Value Stream Managers in identifying opportunities for improvement by having a robust Value Stream Mapping process review and critical mindset to question status quo - Leading the preparation of manufacturing and non-manufacturing kaizen / mini kaizen events in cooperation with Value Stream Managers, Department leaders and Division Lean Manager.

- Actively participates to daily stand-up meetings at Town Hall with all the Location departments, supporting the Operations Manager in reviewing critically the effectiveness of the Town Hall process - Works in close cooperation with the local planning team to ensure the implementation of Lean Principles

**Qualifications

- Degree qualified in Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent.

- 1 to 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.

- A good understanding of Lean principles such as Value Stream Transformation (Mapping), Just-in-Time principles, Takt Time, 1-Piece Flow, 5-S, Visual Management, etc.

- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a team focus.

- Has participated in numerous lean events in manufacturing, engineering and support areas.

- Has demonstrated the ability to articulate the desired state, purpose and value of lean and constantly moving in the direction of waste elimination.

- Good understanding of financial measurements and goals and has good analytical skills.

- Excellent communication skills to lead and support empowered employees in a team environment.

- Good presentation skills to effectively share the success and ideas of the Division.
