Lean Manufacturing Champion - Veneto (LMC - FB - 21)

focused on identifying and completing projects and key initiatives through the use of Lean, Six Sigma, and Project Management process improvement methodologies.

The role reports directly to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the Regional Manufacturing Excellence Senior Leader, working with managers, supervisors, and shop floor people to ensure the Continuous Improvement program is deployed effectively and tools are used and sustained to accelerate business improvement initiatives.

He/she will work closely with the Plant management and Regional Continuous Improvement leader to identify and drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives that result in performance and customer satisfaction improvement.

The aim is to improve the plant ability to meet customer expectations, improve quality, and reduce cost.

It means to participate in the continuousimprovement of production processes, increasing productivity and financial profit of the company.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree (Managerial Engineering ideally);

- Project facilitation experience;

- Six Sigma Green Belt certification required;

- Knowledge of Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand Flow, Single Piece Flow;

- Knowledge of lean tools such as standardized work, 5S, SMED, TPM, Kanban, MIFA, Visual management, Error Proofing, etc.

- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Process, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma and Communication Tools, and Statistical Problem Solving;

- Knowledge of the DMAIC methodology Analytical skills including key statistical methods commonly used in Six Sigma;

- Good in English language skills.

- Practical and hands-on orientation;

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; knowledge and ability to train on methodologies at all levels of the organization;

- Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication;

- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills;

- Enthusiastic and open minded person who can think out of box;

- Ability to coach, mentor, and energize team members;

The office is based in the Veneto area.
