LEAN PROCESS ENGINEER ABOUT THE JOB As Lean Process Engineer, your mission will be to ensure the budget-defined performance in terms of method, plant efficiency, technological choice, but also ensure performance in terms of timing and costs of technologies implementation linked with new products or new processes.
ABOUT YOUR TASKS Development and industrialization of new processes in connection with the entry of new products, integrating with the business functions and according to the logic EPS/WCM, defining layout, equipment, work cycles, technologies to be used in order to maximizing safety, quality and efficiency. Production cycles: analyses and plan production process, taking care of determining best cycle operating development and determining times to be assigned to each operation for each production unit.
Estimate cycle times considering variations to existing products.
Define new work cycles for new products starting analysis from the old ones. Layout: determine assembly line, workstation and production machinery layout according to work phases for each operator on each production unit. Process improvement: contribute to implementation of corrective actions/improvement projects of process/product in terms of productivity, quality, functionality, safety and costs. Safety: verify in cycle and layout development phases that individual protection devices and plant safety devices are used as required by regulations (also as identified by other functions).
Keep in mind on each improvement of tools/layout/work distribution the safety aspects. Tools and production machinery: contribute along with interested functions to define characteristics of tools/machinery to be used in the production of new products or modified products, in particular: identify suppliers and inquiries; assist production in starting up production machinery. You are able to work in an international team. Proactive, problem solver and result-oriented. University degree in mechanical or management engineering. At least 3 to 5 years experience in Process Engineering. Experience of factory work organization, methods and layout. Design for assembly, design for manufacturing, automation and industry 4. 0 principles. Sound knowledge of lean manufacturing. Knowledge of safety regulations.
