**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
**We are looking for a commercial in-house lawyer fluent in Italian and English to join our European legal team!
Position to be based out of Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, or remote from any locations in Spain and Italy.
Our company is looking for a talented commercial lawyer who enjoys working in a wide variety of contractual duties.
The role involves working across multiple countries to ensure that all our contracts meet regulatory requirements, applicable laws, and company policies.
**YOUR IMPACT**:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of contractual agreements and contractual due diligences (including evaluating and participating in bids);
- Research through multiple countries and ability to work with different laws and regulations;
- Responsible for assisting internal departments, clients, partners and vendors during the contractual process;.
- Assessing contract performance to identify improvement to templates and to our contract cycles;
- Clearly explain contract terminology and provide contract training to internal departments;
- Identifying and mitigating risks and causes of the main legal contingencies or exposures;
- Manage contract change requests, amendments, extensions and contract records and documentation.
- Serving as a trusted advisor and providing responsive legal advice to the business;

**WHO YOU ARE
- Law Degree (obtained in any European country).
- Proven work experience (**minimum of 4 years**) with commercial contracts and general legal experience.
- Advanced proficiency in both **Italian and English** is mandatory.
Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese or French will be a clear plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including diplomacy and flexibility.
- In-depth knowledge of contract laws and regulations and ability to work across different countries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to explain complex issues in a clear, simple and concise manner to all levels of the organization.
- Solid judgment and business acumen.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and efficient.
- Strong organizational skills to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
