**Your team**:

You will be part of our growing EMEA Legal team, reporting to the Head of Legal for Product and Distribution, EMEA.

**Your role

The purpose of this role is to provide key support of the EMEA Product and Distribution Legal Team for a broad range of day-to-day tasks and to also support upcoming projects to ensure observance of regulation and corporate governance applicable to Invesco's activities.

Sound interesting?

You will be involved in:

- To support the EMEA Product and Distribution Legal Team on all upcoming legal topics regarding the Invesco product range, distribution activity and provision of financial services to institutional and retail clients across EMEA.

- To draft and maintain legal documentation (e. g.

distribution agreements, specific share-class relevant agreements, investment management agreements), identify relevant legal aspects including an awareness of local law requirements.

- To support the legal team on regulatory oversight and analysis, e. g.

monitoring distribution related national and European legislation and announcements of the supervisory authorities.

- To support the legal team in evaluating the impact of new regulation to Invesco's business and the set-up of accordant gap-analyses and action plans.

- To be involved in EMEA-wide projects through provision of legal advice, co-ordination and support to key business stakeholders.

**You'll need**:

- To have a Law degree from either a common law or civil law jurisdiction, ideally with relevant qualifications in both common law and civil law.

- Work experience as a finance/asset management lawyer, ideally regarding EU and/or UK products, fund distribution and financial services (including during traineeship).

This experience should ideally include a role in a law firm, the legal function of an investment business or a relevant regulatory body.

- A solid legal background in commercial and/or financial law, ideally with exposure to asset management, products and/or fund distribution.
