job requisition id R-14627Iberdrola Italia is looking for an In-house Legal Counsel who will be responsible for the legal support to the renewables and commercial business of Iberdrola in Italy with special focus in corporate law. Main Functions and activitiesResponsible for Corporate law matters (procurement, PoA, minutes drafts, etc.

)Negotiation and drafting of contracts and agreements, namely construction contracts (EPC, BOP, engineering agreements, etc.

), supply agreements, joint development agreements, O&M contracts, and development service agreements;Negotiation, drafting, and advising on real estate, in particular, land lease agreements and land purchase agreements;Negotiation and advising on joint venture agreements, shareholders agreements, consortium agreements, and energy contracts;M&A transactions: due diligence of renewable projects, share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and other ancillary arrangements;General advice in legal matters;Management of external advisors and legal firms. Skills, Knowledge and ExperienceNo less than 5 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel in the legal department of a company, preferably in the energy sector (in particular, renewables business).

The main practices would be corporate, commercial contracts, and real estate. We look for creative problem-solving ability and excellent interpersonal skills.

It is also necessary to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization, self-confidence, and respect for others. The candidate should be fluent in English.

Spanish can be helpful but is not essential.
