Legal Counsel Specialist

This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**In a typical day as Legal Counsel Specialist, you would**:

- Provide legal expertise to support client decisions in Italy

- Promote legal awareness and leads legal training activities for clients

- Identify, analyze and resolve complex legal issues, developing relevant risk profiles

- Concurrently work on multiple legal issues and projects for various client organizations.

**Education and Experience Required**:

- Advanced university degree in law (laurea in giurisprudenza).

- Typically 2-5 years commercial legal experience at law firms or in-house.

- Admission to the Italian bar - an advantage

- Well developed level of business experience supporting clients acquired through being a leading resource in-house or law firm

- Experience in working with public sector customers and on public procurement tenders - an advantage

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Well developed breadth of practical legal and business knowledge, as well as in-depth knowledge in one or more practice areas.

- Well-developed competence and experience in negotiating or advising on legal and business matters

- Ability to translate complex legal or factual issues into plain language communications.

- Ability to quickly gain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and practices.

- Familiarity with procurement procedures for both private and public sector.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Awareness of the international legal environment

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Excellent knowledge of the English language
