Job Title: Legal Manager Location: Milan, Italy About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Manager to join our team in Milan.

The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with experience spanning intellectual property (IP) law, corporate law, clinical development, and financing agreements.

This role requires a strategic legal professional who can navigate complex regulatory and financial landscapes, supporting corporate initiatives and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities Provide legal guidance on corporate, regulatory, and intellectual property matters within the pharmaceutical industry.

Support clinical development activities by advising on contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Manage and negotiate financing agreements, including those with the European Investment Bank and other key stakeholders.

Oversee legal aspects of strategic partnerships and collaborations, such as the Eisai/EA Pharma collaboration.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including licensing, R&D collaborations, joint ventures, and commercial contracts.

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing the pharmaceutical sector.

Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, finance, and business development, to align legal strategies with business goals.

Liaise with external counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.

Key Requirements Qualified lawyer with experience in pharmaceutical or biotech law.

Strong knowledge of IP law, corporate law, clinical development processes, and financing agreements.

Experience handling legal aspects of public and private funding agreements, particularly with European financial institutions.

Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage legal risk in a highly regulated environment.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
