Job Title:Legal Manager Location:Milan, Italy About the Role We are seeking a highly skilledLegal Managerto join our team in Milan.

The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background within thepharmaceutical or biotech industry, with experience spanningintellectual property (IP) law, corporate law, clinical development, and financing agreements.

This role requires a strategic legal professional who can navigate complex regulatory and financial landscapes, supporting corporate initiatives and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities Provide legal guidance oncorporate, regulatory, and intellectual property matterswithin the pharmaceutical industry.

Support clinical development activities by advising on contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Manage and negotiate financing agreements, including those with theEuropean Investment Bankand other key stakeholders.

Oversee legal aspects of strategic partnerships and collaborations, such as theEisai/EA Pharma collaboration.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, includinglicensing, R&D collaborations, joint ventures, and commercial contracts.

Ensure compliance withlocal and international regulationsgoverning the pharmaceutical sector.

Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, finance, and business development, to align legal strategies with business goals.

Liaise with external counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.

Key Requirements Qualified lawyerwith experience inpharmaceutical or biotech law.

Strong knowledge ofIP law, corporate law, clinical development processes, and financing agreements.

Experience handling legal aspects ofpublic and private funding agreements, particularly with European financial institutions.

Proven ability tonegotiate complex contractsand manage legal risk in a highly regulated environment.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
