Legal Specialist
The Legal Specialist will provide legal support to the Legal Team on the following: National and international contract drafting and negotiation. Support to the internal stakeholders on different matters. Support on other areas of law as necessary, including Competition Law, Anti-bribery Laws, Privacy, Consumer protection, and health and safety. Corporate secretarial duties, drafting and reviewing company documents, and support in advising the business on corporate governance and commercial law-related issues. Main Areas of Responsibility: Guarantees that relationships with suppliers (national and international) are governed by proper contractual documents and bidding documents aimed at avoiding or minimizing business risks. Drafts contractual documents and supports the Legal Team in advising on commercial law, in compliance with Company standards and policies and the law. Maintains and ensures Company compliance. Drafts and revises policies and internal regulations. Protects and assists the Company in case of controversy (e. g. , Labor and Commercial Law). Manages contentious matters and relationships with external lawyers, in accordance with Company policies and the law. Manages the Corporate secretariat. Draws up the notices of meetings, the Board of Directors reports, the powers of attorney, in accordance with Company and statutory procedures. Implements and supports new projects and initiatives (mainly cross-functional) to evaluate, monitor, and anticipate potential issues to the business. Analyzes opportunities and risks, following, step by step, the relevant stakeholders in order to support the development of the project in all its parts. Collects opinions about doubts and questions of internal clients, in compliance with Company strategies, as well as the laws, regulations, and European directives. Ensures adequate and timely compliance with national and European regulations. Monitors and analyzes legislation at national and international levels, in accordance with the timing imposed by law. Main Requirements: 2-3 years' experience. Previous in-house experience is required, preferably in international FMCG environments. Italian lawyer qualification is desirable. Customer-oriented, able to work with tight deadlines, flexible to switch among different matters. Ambitious and with high potential to grow. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, Italian as primary language. We offer: Through an external staffing agency, a temporary, fixed-term job position of 12 months.
